Main description
Waney Edge (also known as lap or larchlap) is a garden favourite for a reason: it’s dependable, tidy, and gives you a strong, smart boundary without overcomplicating the job.
These panels are heavy duty and fully framed, with 5 vertical and 2 horizontal battens on each side for added strength. They’re pressure treated in a bronze colour finish, so there’s no need to apply treatment before fitting.
Standard vs Twin Side (important)
Standard Waney Edge panels are lapped from a single side — so the boards “flow” down from one side of the panel and up from the other.
If you’d like the panel to look the same from both sides, choose our Twin Side Waney Edge Fence Panels (sold as a separate product).

Wind exposure guidance
Waney Edge panels are suitable for low to medium wind conditions.
For more exposed gardens, we recommend a heavier-duty option such as Earlswood Closeboard Panels or Continental Panels.
