Shipping & Delivery
We deliver anywhere in Ireland including Northern Ireland. As all our stock tends to be on the larger size we deliver based on larger and more difficult sizes and we deliver these mainly in our own trucks so our delivery charges work well in these cases and we include as much or as little in the load for one delivery charge. Delivery is charged by county, regardless of the number of items ordered, this is with the exception of items that need a crane, items where access is extremely limited or in the case of furniture that needs two men but includes installation into position and taking away any packaging.
All Furniture orders will incur a €100 additional delivery charge for our standard service.
We can ship outside Ireland, please contact us for delivery costs.
We aim to have your order with you as quickly as possible, this can depend on where you are in the country, we cannot guarantee delivery on a particular day or time but we will do our best to accommodate as many requests as possible.
When an item is sold out, we will endeavour to bring it back into stock as quickly as possible although due to the nature of some of our specimens and that our product is a living item they may not be exactly the same.
We guarantee only to send you top quality plants & Products and we inspect everything carefully before it leaves us to make sure it’s in tip top condition. We also do our utmost to protect everything so that it doesn’t get damaged on its way. However, if you do have a problem, here is what to do:
Contact us straight away but at the very least within 5 days with details, on the usual details 045 879170 or firstname.lastname@example.org
If we sent you something you hadn’t ordered and which was not a substitute item (see below), please contact us within 5 days informing us of the problem. You can return it within 14 days without the plant being disturbed, taken out of its pot or planted.
If your plant is damaged in transit, please contact us within 5 days informing us of the problem. You can return it within 14 days and either get a replacement or a refund as long as we have been informed within the 5 days.
If you receive a plant that is in bad condition when you take it out of the box, contact us immediately. We will then ask you to send us a photograph so that there is no doubt as to it’s condition on arrival with you, as opposed to what it looks like by the time you return it to us. Bear in mind that plants look different depending on what time of year it is. If you choose a nice leafy-looking deciduous shrub in the winter, remember it’s going to turn up looking pretty bare. It doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with it, just that it’s out of season and will perk up when the weather does. Perennial plants won’t even show above the soil level in a pot during the winter, but that doesn’t mean you’ve been fobbed off with a bunch of soil. However, provided that you have contacted us within 5 days of receiving the defective plant we will be happy to arrange for a refund or replacement once we have received the pictures and determined the cause of the problem and confirmed this with you.
3 year guarantee on plants, shrubs, trees and perennials
Our fully hardy shrubs, trees and perennials (excluding annuals and biennials) are all guaranteed for 3 years after you’ve bought them. If the plant fails in the first 3 years, send us a picture of the plant along with your order number and name to email@example.com. Once we have determined the cause of the problem we will endeavour to replace it for you. This guarantee does not include any plants damaged due to lack of watering or lack of proper horticultural care. Also, because these are completely beyond our control, we cannot be responsible for any airborne pests and diseases such as box blight, fungal leaf spot or aphids. You will be charged for delivery on replacement items.
To cancel an order, please drop us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org with details of the order you are cancelling at least 24 hours prior to delivery.
You can return anything you’re not happy with within 14 days of receiving it provided you have contacted us within 5 days of receipt to advise of its return and that it’s not something you’ve tried out and not liked! ie we will not accept any products that have been interfered with in any way, taken from the pot or planted and we would ask that you mind the plant prior to you returning it, like you, our plants will not survive without water. We will not pay the costs of returning an item to us. Until we receive the goods you are returning, they are your responsibility.
To get a full refund, simply return the item to us in its original condition, within 14 days and following contacting us within the 5 days with confirmation. If the item has been damaged, used or is not returned in its original packaging, we reserve the right to not offer a refund or withhold a percentage of the refund to enable us to resell that product.
If you order a Ready-Made planting pack and a plant in the scheme is unavailable, we reserve the right to replace it with something similar. You can rely on us to choose a plant that’s not only of a comparable size and price but one that fits in with the overall design.
