Description

Viburnum carlesii Aurora, also known as arrowwood Aurora, is an absolute delight in the early spring garden. In April, it is covered with pink buds which open to pink or white blossoms with an exquisite scent that perfumes the air around it. The flowers set small oval berries which ripen to black in the autumn. The dark green leathery leaves turn to red in the autumn and will remain into the early winter. This plant has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit because of its value to gardeners.
