Description
This evergreen creeping thyme has highly aromatic, variegated foliage that is dark green with hints of yellow. In summer, light pink flowers emerge from dark buds which sit on top of the citrus-scented foliage, creating a low carpet of pink blooms that are very attractive to bees and other pollinators. It grows to a high of about 10cm, with a spread of 40-60cm over time. It is a fantastic plant for rockeries, walled areas or alongside footpaths or paving stones. It also has some herbal uses, and can be used in cooking or to make teas.
