Malus Red Boskoop – The Malus ‘Red Boskoop’ is a heritage apple with a bold, tangy flavour and a beautiful blush-red skin. Its spring blossoms bring a froth of delicate pink and white to the garden, followed by crisp, aromatic fruit perfect for eating fresh or baking. Hardy and reliable, this tree thrives in Irish gardens, offering both ornamental charm and a delicious autumn harvest.

Malus Elstar –  Elstar is a successful offspring of Golden Delicious, it is a popular easy-eating dessert apple, widely grown in Europe . The skin is marbled, often with a soft sheen to it. It also lacks the perfect smoothness of many modern varieties. The underlying colour is golden yellow but overlaid with deep red.The flavour can be more intense than is often the case with other Golden Delicious offspring.  It retains the appealing sweetness – usually described as ‘honeyed’ with a real crunch.

Prunus domestica ‘Hauszwetsche’ is a much-loved, traditional plum variety, cherished for its sweet, juicy blue fruits and reliable harvests. In spring, clouds of white blossom light up the branches, beckoning pollinators and promising a generous autumn crop. Hardy and easy to grow, it’s perfect for Irish gardens—delivering both beauty and bountiful, flavourful plums for eating fresh or making preserves.

Pyrus ‘Conference’ is a beloved pear variety, celebrated for its slender, elegant fruit with smooth, green skin and a juicy, aromatic bite. Each spring, it delights with a flurry of white blossom, while autumn brings a reliable crop of sweet, flavoursome pears perfect for eating fresh or poaching. Exceptionally hardy and self-fertile, ‘Conference’ thrives in Irish gardens—offering beauty, abundance, and a true taste of orchard tradition.
