Description
Hypericum ‘Hidcote’ is a hardy evergreen shrub that produces a mass of butter-yellow flowers between July and September. It is a very durable plant and will thrive in most conditions, including dry soils, near walls, or beneath large conifer trees. It can grow to an ultimate size of about 1.5m in height and spread, but can be pruned to maintain it at any height below this. It can make for a very reliable, natural-looking low hedge, or can be a perfect addition to mixed shrub borders.
