Description
Another addition to our collection of miniature Bonsais, grown and shaped by Andrii, who has been with us here at Caragh Nurseries for the past 2 years. Here we have a 12 year old Carpinus betulus, otherwise known as Hornbeam. Its strong, straight trunk is topped with a gentle curve, with the side branches shaped using wire to ensure even coverage around the trunk. The deep green leaves will turn to bright yellow in the autumn, before going brown in the winter months. It will retain some of its brown leaves into spring. This one comes in a white glazed rectangular pot, topped with small pebble and moss for a natural finish.
