Prunus lusitanica on a Stone – Miniature Bonsai Collection

Here we have a stunning Portuguese Laurel that is part of our Miniature Bonsai Collection. It has a nice bushy head of dark green, evergreen foliage that will provide interest all year round. What is really characteristic though, is the root over rock technique that can be seen with this specimen.

This is a 7 year-old bonsai specimen, presented on a natural stone plate with stone edging, topped with a grit finish. It has been carefully pruned and shaped by our very own Andrii Marynch, who has been with us here at Caragh Nurseries for the past 2 years keeping all of our specimen bonsais and trees in the best shape.
