Another stunning variety of Japanese Maple, ‘Cascade Emerald’ has a tight weeping habit, making it the ideal choice for restricted spaces in the garden, or for pots and planters. Young shoots are yellow-orange in the spring, from which copper-red foliage emerges. The deeply lobed palmate leaves mature to emerald green over the summer, but put on a second eye-catching display in the autumn when the leaves turn various shades of orange and red. A compact, elegant weeping tree that will thrive best in a sheltered site with dappled shade.
