Description
Quercus castaneifolia, also known as the Chestnut Leaved Oak, is a handsome, medium sized or eventually large tree with chestnut-like leaves and a habit similar to that of a Quercus cerris (Turkey Oak). The leaves are dark green in colour, turning yellow or bronze in autumn before they fall. Here we have a very mature specimen with a 30-35cm girth and an overall height measuring 6-8m. It can be viewed on our Nursery Park.
