Description

Pinus mugo ‘Gnom’ is a mound-forming Dwarf Mountain Pine with dark-green needles, and produces green-brown pine cones in late summer/autumn. It is entirely hardy, and will tolerate areas of high exposure, coastal winds and full sun.

Usually a very compact variety, this specimen has been carefully pruned and shaped over many many years to get to this impressive size. Standing at 3-3.5m tall, this single-trunk specimen holds multiple large clouds of foliage on well-balanced strong arms, which allows this feature piece to be admired from any angle. It can be seen on display in our Nursery Park, where we hold an extensive collection of specimen bonsais and other impressive feature trees. Come take a look, or you can always contact us by email or phone if you require any further information on any of our stock.
