Description
Pinus densiflora ‘Alice Verkade’ is an attractive wide spreading plant of compact appearance with dense, grass-green foliage and upward curving branches. Masses of red strobili (small male flowers) are produced followed by cones in spring. It is ideally suited to exposed planting sites, dislikes shade and prefers free draining soil.
These ones have been grown with character, kind of between a bonai and multistem parachute, image was taken July ’23 on the nursery.
