Description
White flower spikes create an upright column of colour from early summer, continuing into the autumn. Faded blooms can be removed to encourage repeat flowers, or if the plant becomes damaged by wind, drought or from pests such as snails and slugs, it can be cut right down to ground level to encourage a fresh flush of growth. Lupins can also be used as cut-flowers. In late autumn/winter cover the crown of the plant with mulch to protect against frost damage.
