Description
Lavender stoechas ‘Tiara’ is a form of French Lavender, with a compact upright form. Its highly fragrant evergreen foliage is silver-grey in colour and soft to touch. From late spring throughout the summer, large deep blue to purple flower heads are produced, topped with lime to cream coloured bracts. It grows to about 2ft in height, and should be planted in a sheltered, full sun location with free-draining soil, or it can be kept in pots. Similar to other Lavender types, the old flowers should be pruned away just after it finished flowering.
