Description
Lavender stoechas ‘Regal Splendour’ is a variety of French Lavender that produces dark purple flowers with bright pink bracts from May to July. The short flower stems result in the flowers sitting just above the foliage, given the plant a wonderfully compact shape. If weather conditions suit, a second flush of flowers can sometimes occur later in the autumn. Each year, just after flowering, it should be pruned back in a rounded shape to about a third, but do not cut back in to old wood. Requires a full sun location with very well-draining soil, preferably with shelter from cold winds and frost pockets.
