Description

Hosta for. ‘Albopicta’ is a stunning perennial that produces large, elongated leaves that have dark green margins with a yellow centre when they first emerge in spring. The yellow centre turns to a soft green as the season progresses, resulting in lush clumps of various tones of green which thrive in shaded areas and sheltered flower beds. The foliage height reaches approx 50-60cm, and in the autumn tall flower spikes, light-lavender in colour emerge above the foliage to a height of 90cm. Like all Hostas, it will go dormant during the colder winter months, but it is perfectly hardy so will come back fuller and stronger year after year.
