Description

If you’re looking for a plant that will quietly transform a border — filling gaps, softening edges, and flowering for what feels like forever — Geranium ‘Rozanne’ is a garden essential. From early summer right through to autumn, it produces an abundance of violet-blue flowers with a bright white eye, floating above fresh green foliage that gently spills and weaves between neighbouring plants.
It’s one of the best plants for creating that “naturally abundant” look: generous, easy, and incredibly useful. Perfect at the front of borders, under roses, around shrubs, or tumbling from pots and raised beds.

Caragh Garden Notebook

There are plants you buy once — and then you wonder how you ever gardened without them. Geranium ‘Rozanne’ is exactly that.
It’s the one we reach for when a border needs stitching together: when you want softness at the edge of a path, a gentle spill over a wall, or a long season of colour that doesn’t demand constant attention. Those violet-blue flowers catch the light beautifully in the evening too — especially beside pale pinks, whites, silvers and deep purples.
Caragh tip: Give it a light trim if it starts to look tired mid-season (especially after a big flush of flowers). A quick tidy and a water, and it’ll often bounce back with fresh growth and more blooms.
