Description
Forsythias ‘Weekend’ is a compact, deciduous, hardy shrub with an upright habit. Its arching branches produce plentiful bright golden-yellow flowers in early spring before its leaves emerge, adding a blast of colour from around late January to early March. It will grow in most soil types, providing the area is well drained, and prefers full sun to dappled shade. It is a very hardy option, and can also work well as a hedging plant. Height and spread approx 2-2.5m.
