Cryptomeria japonica Elegans

Description

Cryptomeria japonica ‘Elegans’ is a form of Japanese Cedar with soft, feathery foliage that provides interest throughout the year as the foliage colour changes with every season. in spring, the new emerging foliage is blue-green in colour, before deepening to a fresh green over the summer months. In autumn and winter as the temperature changes, the foliage turns various shades of rustic red, burgundy and purple. It can slowly grow to about 4-5m in height, with a compact width of 1.5-2m, and can be pruned to maintain at any desired height and/or shape.

These ones come as neat, dense columns, 125-150cm in height and supplied in a 35L pot as shown in the image.
