Description
Heuchera ‘Pink Panther’ is a beautifully elegant heuchera with silvery-lavender foliage and darker veining that gives it a softly “frosted” look. It brings light and refinement to borders and containers, especially in part shade where many plants can look a little flat. In summer, airy stems of soft pink flowers rise above the leaves, adding a gentle, romantic finish.

Planting:
Plant in spring or autumn into well-prepared soil, or pot into a quality peat-free compost with good drainage. Keep the crown at soil level — don’t bury it too deeply. Water well to settle in.

Watering:
Water regularly in the first season and during dry spells, especially in containers. Keep moisture consistent — heucheras are at their best when they’re not stressed by drying out.

Feeding:
A spring mulch and a light feed (or slow-release feed in pots) is usually plenty. Refresh the compost surface in containers each spring for a quick boost.

Seasonal Care & Tidy-Up:
Remove tired leaves as needed. In late winter/early spring, tidy away older foliage so the new growth comes through cleanly.

Division (to keep plants vigorous):
Every 3–4 years, lift and divide in spring or early autumn if the clump becomes woody or starts to lift.

Pests & Problems:
Generally easy. Watch for vine weevil in pots and occasional slug/snail damage on young leaves.

Design Notes:
‘Pink Panther’ is gorgeous with deep greens, burgundy foliage, whites, pale pinks, and airy grasses. It’s especially effective near paths and seating where you’ll notice the veining and the silvery sheen up close, and it’s a brilliant “light-lifter” for part shade borders.
