Description

Some things look as though time made them. The Agra is one of them. With its softly rounded body, narrow collared rim, and a surface so beautifully encrusted it could have been pulled from the bed of an ancient harbour, the Agra carries the kind of quiet, unhurried character that simply cannot be manufactured — only coaxed.

The Atlantis finish is exactly that — a celebration of perfect imperfection. Across the body of each Agra, layers of grey-green tone shift into patches of warm sandy gold and deep charcoal, the surface pitted and textured like aged stone or mineral-crusted rock. Every mark, every variation, every darkened hollow is intentional — the evidence of a handmaking process that prioritises character over uniformity. No two pieces are identical. No two ever could be.

One of four hand-picked pieces in the Atlantis Collection, the Agra was chosen because it is exceptional — even within a collection defined by exceptional things.

The Atlantis Finish: What you are looking at is a surface that tells a story. The grey-green base tone deepens and shifts across each piece, interrupted by warm mineral golds and patches of dark, weathered charcoal — as though the pot has spent decades absorbing the character of the world around it. The pitted, encrusted texture catches light differently at every hour of the day, and changes entirely with the seasons. This is not a finish applied uniformly by machine. It is made by hand, piece by piece, and it shows in the best possible way.

Planting: The Agra’s narrow collared opening and generous rounded body suit a single sculptural planting beautifully — a trailing succulent, a compact ornamental grass, a small fern, or a simple flowering bulb. Inside or out, the pot does much of the work; your plant simply completes it.

Grouping: The Agra is one of four individual pieces in the Atlantis Collection, each hand-picked for its character. Displayed as a group — at varying heights, on stone steps, along a shelf, or gathered at the base of a larger specimen planting — they create something that feels genuinely curated rather than simply arranged. Explore the full collection to find your four.

Styling Notes: The Agra’s aged, mineral character places it naturally alongside raw stone, weathered timber, terracotta, and lush green planting. It sits as comfortably on an indoor windowsill or stone mantelpiece as it does outdoors on a patio or garden wall. Against the clean lines of the Sydney or Atlas aluminium planters, it introduces warmth, age, and texture — a counterpoint that makes both pieces more interesting.
