Description

Cedrus libani is a robust, evergreen conifer native to eastern Mediterranean regions. It has very dark coloured bark that forms deep cracks and ridges as it matures, creating interest on the trunk and main branches. Its dark grey-green needles are arranged in clusters all along the younger branches. It has a beautiful natural form, with branches slightly arching that create a tiered shape as the tree matures. This tree would suit a medium to large sized garden, as it can grow to an ultimate height of 12-15m+. It is best planted in an open space as a focal point so its architectural form can be appreciated from every angle.
