Also known as the Barren Strawberry, Waldsteinia Ternata is a convenient ground cover plant. Even under difficult circumstances like drought, shade and on a barren soil, Waldsteinia ternata is a wonderful perennial that can be used to cover the soil beautifully and quickly. It can be used as plant cover under shrubs, in rock gardens and along paths. During flowering in late spring and early summer, single, bright yellow, star shaped flowers occur in clusters that contrast beautifully with the green leaves.
