Description

Taxus is a slow-growing, densely branched tree. The stem is reddish brown and peels. The branches grow upright and slightly spread and are densely covered with short side branches. The very dark green needles are linear and concentrated. At the bottom they are lighter green and the short stem is yellowish. Following the inconspicuous flowering, the seeds are 4/5 surrounded by a fleshy red shell of approximately 0.5 cm. (Note that the seed is poisonous.). So pay attention in placement by a pond.

These particular specimens have a clear stem to approx 1.2metres and then the upright foliage up to the full height of 275-300cm. They come in a significant pot size of 280L ,
