Description
Salix fragilis Bullata, also known as Crack Willow, is a vigorous large shrub or small tree with lanceolate, dark green leaves that are yellow-green when young.
Many types of Salix fragilis are enormous and invasive, however, the more shrub-like Bullata is much more compact and easier to use in a landscape. The very twiggy branches look outstanding when planted with other basket-type willows. It will make a beautiful winter hedgerow.
