Description
Prunus ‘Autumnalis Rosea’ also known as the Winter flowering cherry is a beautiful ornamental tree offering much needed colour through the late Autumn and Winter months with its abundance of pale pink flowers. It produces a small black fruit in the late summer which is very attractive to birds. A small tree that only reaches 6-8 meters at full maturity that combined with its year round interest makes it perfect for the smaller city garden or as a feature tree in a large bed.
Prefers full sun to partial shade in a well drained fertile soil. It can be pruned in early spring to remove dead or damaged branches.
