Description
Pinus densiflora ‘Umbraculifera’ is a slow-growing, multi-stemmed, vase-shaped selection of Japanese red pine with long, dark-green needles; a heavy show of tiny seed cones; and a flattish parasol-like top. Older bark exfoliates, exposing patterns with various shades of reddish brown. I think this is my favourite of all the forms, its such a beautiful soft form on a strong but interesting bark, I’m sure you’ll love it too. You can view it on our Nursery Park
