Description

Wild Marjoram, also known as Oregano, is a native Irish herb which grows as a kind of ground cover, reaching heights of only 30-50cm or thereabouts. It has strongly scented leaves and bears small pink-purple flowers which appear from July to September. The leaves are commonly used in Greek and Italian dishes. Plants are easy to grow provided they are given plenty of sunshine and a well-drained soil.
