Description
The white mulberry, Morus alba, makes an attractive garden tree. It has large lobed leaves, small and reasonably insignificant white flowers and juicy dark fruits. While the fruits are edible they’re not the nicest fruits I’ve ever had so best left for the birds. The Nana part of this tree is the head which makes a lovely globed shape, similar to the Acer Globosa.
Grow Morus alba Nana in moist but well-drained soil in a good sunny spot , ideally with a little protection from winds as you want to protect those beautiful big leaves for which I’d grow these trees alone but coupled with the globe shape it makes a very smart garden tree.
