Description

Miscanthus ‘Yaka Dance’ is a clump forming deciduous grass that produces a large mound of arching variegated green foliage with cream-white vein which makes the grass look silver in appearance. In late summer, feathery inflorescences are produced, which form a delicate, airy mound of whispy flower heads that tower above the foliage. These inflorescences will persist into the winter and spring, providing visual interest as well as a food source for birds. It grows to a height of 1.5-2m with similar spread. Best planted in an open area with full sun, where it has room to grow to its full potential.
