Description
Spearmint is a herbaceous, highly fragrant perennial which is most commonly grown as a culinary or medicinal herb and /or ground cover. It typically grows to about 60cm tall and can spread quite quickly by rhizomes forming an attractive ground cover. Features rounded to lance-shaped toothed dark green leaves and spikes of small pink to lavender flowers in summer which are attractive to pollinators. Wonderfully refreshing when used to flavour teas, as a garnish or in cocktails!
