Description
‘Shadowland Coast to Coast’ is a stunning form of Hosta with bright, all-gold foliage that makes a striking impact in any shade garden. Its dense, rigid upright form and thick leaves makes it more resistant to slug and snail damage than other Hosta varieties. Its large leaves have slightly wavy edges, and will be more golden in colour if planted in a position with good morning sun. In summer, spikes with violet-purple flowers will form and sit above the foliage. It will thrive best in an area of semi- to full-shade, and looks fantastic planted under trees amongst ferns and other shade-tolerant flowering perennials. It is a taller form of Hosta, growing to a max height of 80-100cm with a similar spread.
