Description
Hosta ‘August Moon’ is a variety grown mainly for its striking yellow-green to gold foliage. Its broad, deeply ridged pointed foliage stays reasonably low to the ground, up to a height of about 50-60cm. Spikes of pale-lavender flowers are borne on tall, upright stems in the mid-late summer months. As a shade-loving plant, it can really brighten up any dark corners or beds under tree canopies and large shrub borders. Its large leaves means it can also tolerate a full-sun location, and the golden colour can capture and reflect light beautifully. An architectural, easy-to-grow plant that is a must-have for every garden!
