Description
A hybrid cross between a Heuchera and Tiarella, Heucherella ‘Autumn Shades’ has been bred for its attractive foliage and for its tolerance to dry, shaded conditions. Like other Heucheras, it is considered to be evergreen, but may have a time in mid spring where the older leaves die back as new leaves start to emerge in their place. It still provides excellent colour of dark purple-green with a silver sheen from its attractive foliage, with the addition of white and pink bell-shaped flowers that are produced from late spring through summer. Height approx. 40-60cm with a similar spread.
An excellent ground cover plant for dry shade and is also good in borders or large containers.
