Ginkgo Biloba ‘Mariken’ Standard Tree

Description

Ginkgo biloba Mariken  is a broadleaf, deciduous tree., very similar to the well-known Biloba but a little more dense and compact.  While it loses its leaves in winter, it is classified as coniferous. Its uniquely fan-shaped leaves start out green but change to golden-yellow in autumn. Before the whole leaf turns golden, there is sometimes a stage during which the leaf is two-toned, with separate bands of gold and green.

This tree has a 1.9m clear stem with a 12-14cm girth and the compact head of stunning foliage is 60-80cm in diameter
