Description
Geranium ‘Johnson’s Blue’ is a fantastic cranesbill geranium, bearing masses of large, dark-veined, lavender-blue flowers that fade to pearl grey as they mature. It’s an informal-looking, slightly sprawling plant that looks best when allowed to spread – it’s an excellent choice for ground cover. Perfect for a cottage garden or informal border, it works well with old fashioned roses. Its blooms are a magnet for bees. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
Grow Geranium ‘Johnson’s Blue’ in moist but well-drained soil in sun to partial shade. Cut plants back after flowering to encourage a second flush of blooms.
