Clematis ‘Joe’

Description

Clematis × cartmanii ‘Joe’ is a compact, evergreen climber known for its finely divided, leathery dark green foliage and profusion of bowl-shaped white flowers that bloom in early spring. This variety thrives in well-drained, gritty soil and prefers full sun or partial shade with shelter.  Unlike traditional climbing clematis, ‘Joe’ has a trailing or scrambling habit, making it ideal for containers, rockeries, or cascading over walls. It is relatively low-maintenance, requiring minimal pruning, and adds a graceful touch to gardens with its delicate, fern-like leaves and arching stems.
