Cedrus deodara on a Stone – Miniature Bonsai Collection

Description

This Cedrus deodara has been specially grown in this miniature bonsai style by Andrii, who has been with us here at Caragh Nurseries for the past 2 years. It is an 8 year old Cedar, presented on a natural stone base, and topped with a generous covering of moss which helps protect the roots and keep in moisture. It has been shaped in this natural, upright form, with the side branching evenly distributed along the trunk. The gentle curves in the main truck imitate how it would typically grow in nature with exposure to the elements.

Andriis patience and attention to detail has sculpted this specimen bonsai, along with many others, as he has been practicing various bonsai techniques over the last 18 years. You can see many of his specimens, part of the Mini Bonsai Collection, on our website.
