Camellia sasanqua ‘Yuletide’

Camellia sasanqua ‘Yuletide’ is a hardy evergreen shrub with dense, dark green foliage and striking bright red flowers with yellow centres in late autumn, which become more prolific as the shrub matures. Flowers are produced from around November until January, providing beautiful colour throughout the winter months, when many other plants are dormant. It grows to a height of about 2-2.5m with a more compact spread of 1.5m. Ericaceous compost is required when planting, and should be fed throughout the growing season with Ericaceous plant food in order to maintain the right pH to keep the plant healthy and thriving.
