Description
‘Black Lace’ is a compact evergreen shrub of upright growth, with dark green leaves and deep red, formal double flowers from early spring. It will flower and grow best in a semi-shaded, west-facing position that is sheltered from strong winds. Avoid areas of morning sun, as this can cause damage to its flower buds during periods of hard frost. It is generally considered to be slow growing, but will reach an ultimate height of approx 2.5-3m, with a spread of about 2m.
