Description

Buddleja ‘Pink Delight’, similar to all other Buddlejas, produces an abundance of flowers with a faint honey-like fragrance, that are hugely attractive to butterflies and other pollinating insects. This variety has spikes of beautiful deep pink flowers, which are usually covered in butterflies by late July/August. It has a long flowering period from mid-summer to late autumn, providing the old flowers are regularly dead-headed. It can grow quite big if left to its own devices, up to about 3m, but for best results it should be pruned hard in spring. This will keep the plant at a manageable size and will encourage more and more flowers.
