Description
Astilbe are an attractive herbaceous perennial with glossy green foliage. Astilbe Sprite is a dwarf variety that can reach approximately 30cm in height. Tiny pink flowers bloom in late spring or early summer and complement the dark green foliage. Old flower-heads turn brown in autumn but remain attractive.
A popular choice for shady gardens Astilbe Sprite will perform well in rich, moist soil with regular watering. Ideal in tubs and mixed containers or useful as ground cover in shady areas, they will tolerate full sun during summer.
