Description
Abies nordmanniana Aurea is very similar to the usual Nordmann Fir, with dark green evergreen needles and a conical, Christmas tree growing habit. However, ‘Aurea’ differs as its new growth emerges bright yellow in colour, being particularly vibrant in the spring. This adds a stunning brightness to the garden and provides contrast against its own dark green older foliage, as well as other shades of green from its surroundings.
This specimen tree currently measures 3.5-4m in height, supplied in a 150L pot. It is the same tree that is shown in the images here, and is available for viewing in our Nursery Park.
