Our apex sheds are handcrafted in our own workshop using quality timber that's made to handle our weather. The pitched roof gives you a taller, airier interior, better drainage, and a look that sits comfortably in any garden.
Available in a range of sizes and finished with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, these sheds are built to be used, not just looked at. Whether you need a tidy space for tools, a proper potting shed, or something bespoke to fit an awkward spot we can build it.
Our painted sheds are manufactured right here in our own workshop, built to order, finished by hand, and designed to last.

Crafted from quality timber by a team who take the same care with a garden building as they do with everything else that carries our name.
Our summerhouses are designed for living in proper windows, solid construction, and the kind of finish that makes them a genuine extension of your outdoor space rather than an afterthought at the bottom of the garden. The potting shed gives the serious gardener a dedicated, well-built space to work through the seasons. And the corner summerhouse makes the most of space that often goes to waste tucked neatly into the corner of a garden and doing it beautifully.

General Questions
Are you open to the public?
Yes, we are open everyday except Sundays.
What are your opening hours ?
We are open Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm.
Saturday 9am – 5pm and closed on Sunday.
Where are you located ?
We are located outside Caragh Village in Co. Kildare.
We would love to welcome you to our nursery. Plan your visit to experience Caragh Nurseries a different way.
What products do you stock at your landscape centre?
We supply topsoil, bark, gravel, decorative stone, compost, decorative stone and more.
Is there parking available?
Yes, we have on-site parking.
Can I get advice when I visit?
Yes. Our team is available in the landscape centre to advise on products, materials and specifications. Whether you have a clear plan or are starting from scratch, we’ll help you work it out.
Timber & Garden Buildings
What timber products do you manufacture?
We manufacture a full range of timber products in our on-site workshop including sheds, summerhouses, garden buildings and fence panels.
What colours do you offer in your painted options?
Our painted sheds are available in Callan, Mussel, School Room Green, Wild Raspberry, Four Arches and Unveiled.
We also offer a treated timber finish for a more traditional look. We offer the pent roof, summerhouses, garden bars, and potting sheds in our painted options, some of which are available to view here on site at Caragh Nurseries.
How long does it take to receive a shed or garden building?
Our sheds and garden buildings are built to order in our workshop. Please allow up to 5 weeks from order to delivery. If you need something sooner, get in touch and we’ll let you know what we have available.
Do you sell standard fence panels and gates from stock?
Yes. Our most popular fence panels and gates are held in stock and can usually be turned around within a few days.
What warranty do your timber products come with?
All bespoke timber products carry a 12-month warranty. Sheds and garden buildings come with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, subject to annual timber treatment.
Summerhouses
Can a summerhouse be used as a home office or gym?
Absolutely. Our summerhouses are built to order and can be tailored around how you plan to use the space. Popular uses include home offices, outdoor gyms, workshops and relaxation areas. Tell us what you need and we’ll design it around you.
Can summerhouses be insulated and fitted with power?
Yes. We can specify insulation, electrics and other features depending on your intended use. Whether it’s a quiet office, a training space or a workshop, get in touch and we’ll talk through the options.
Can I see summerhouse examples before I order?
Yes. Visit us at the landscape centre and our team will walk you through the options, finishes and specifications available.
Paving & Stones
What types of paving do you stock?
We carry flag stones and granite across a range of sizes and finishes. Whether you’re after a clean contemporary look or something more traditional, we’ll have something to suit.
Do you stock paving accessories?
Yes. We stock everything you need alongside the stone — jointing compounds, sealers, adhesive, edging and spacers. One supplier, everything you need to finish the job properly.
Can you help me choose the right paving for my garden?
Yes. Our team is on hand to advise on the right material, finish and size for your project. Come in and see the range in person, or give us a call on 045 879 170 and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Do you offer paving for trade customers?
Yes. We supply paving materials to landscapers across the island of Ireland.
