Description
There’s something about a well-laid paving flag that changes the entire feel of an outdoor space. The moment the last stone is set and you step back, the garden becomes something more considered — a place that’s been thought about, designed, and built to last. The Newgrange Flag is made for that moment.
Named with a nod to Ireland’s ancient landscape, the Newgrange Flag brings something altogether more contemporary to the ground beneath your feet. The surface is cast with premium granite aggregates, giving it a refined, lightly textured finish that catches the light with quiet confidence. It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t need to. It simply looks right — whether you’re laying a garden terrace, a path, a driveway, or a courtyard that needs to work as hard as it looks.
The clean, chamfered edges give each flag a precise, modern profile — the kind of detail that lifts an entire scheme. The light shot blast finish adds depth to the surface texture and improves slip resistance underfoot, so it performs in the real Irish climate as well as it photographs in the sunshine.

Caragh Garden Notebook: Looking After Your Flags
Cleaning: The granite aggregate surface is easy to keep clean. A regular brush down and occasional wash with clean water is usually all it needs. For tougher stains, a mild patio cleaner applied with a stiff brush will do the job without damaging the surface.
Sealing: Sealing is optional but recommended for high-traffic areas or anywhere that sees regular exposure to oil, food, or heavy footfall. A quality patio sealant applied after laying and again every few years will extend the life of the surface and make day-to-day cleaning easier.
Jointing: Use a quality jointing compound suited to the joint width specified at laying. Properly filled joints prevent weed growth and keep the surface stable over time.
Winter care: The Newgrange Flag is built for the Irish climate, frost-resistant and durable through seasonal change. Keep joints well maintained and clear the surface of standing water in prolonged freezing conditions.
