We’re Making Timber — Crafted In-House, Made for Irish Gardens

If you’ve been shopping with us for a while, you’ll know we’re fussy about quality — the kind you can feel in the weight of a gate, the steadiness of a post, and the way a trellis sits true against a wall.
So we’re delighted to share something new (and long in the making): we now make a growing range of timber products in-house, crafted by our own team, built for real gardens and real weather.
Why timber, and why now?
A garden is never just “outside”. It’s where you drink your first coffee, where the dog does laps, where the kids build dens, where you breathe out after a long day.
Timber belongs in that story.
It softens hard edges. It frames planting beautifully. It gives structure in winter and shade in summer. And when it’s made properly, it lasts — quietly doing its job year after year.
Made in-house by craftspeople who care
We’re calling it in-house because that’s what matters most: these pieces aren’t shipped in from somewhere unknown.
They’re made by our own craftspeople, in our own manufacturing unit, with pride in the details:
  • Clean, strong joins
  • Proper proportions (so things look right in a garden)
  • A finish that feels considered, not rushed
It’s the same standard we expect from our plants: healthy, well-grown, and ready to thrive.
What we’re making (and what’s coming)
Right now, you’ll find a brilliant starting range — the garden essentials that make an immediate difference:
  • Timber fencing (for privacy, shelter, and structure)
  • Trellis (for climbers, screening, and soft boundaries)
  • Arches (for entrances, pathways, and that “garden moment”)
  • Log stores, bin stores, and water butt houses (practical, tidy, and built to last)
  • Sheds, summerhouses, and potting sheds (the hardworking heart of a garden)

We’re also expanding the range steadily, bringing in far more options over the coming weeks.
Irish timber, with cedar for our newest wellness pieces
Most of our timber range is made using Irish timber, with two finish routes depending on what suits your garden best:
  • Treated timber for a classic, natural look
  • Or painted finishes for a more tailored, design-led feel
And for something a little special: our brand new sauna and shower are made in cedar — a beautiful, naturally durable timber that suits wellness spaces perfectly.
(We’ll share more on the sauna and shower soon — consider this your little heads-up.)
Choose your finish: six beautiful colours
If you love a garden that feels cohesive — where the shed, store and fencing all “belong” — you’ll love this part.
Our painted timber buildings and stores can be finished in six colours:
  • Callan
  • Unveiled
  • Schoolroom Green
  • Mussel
  • Four Arches
  • Wild Raspberry
From calm, heritage greens to deep coastal blues and a bold berry note, they’re designed to sit beautifully with planting.

And if you’re not sure what will suit your space, just reply to our team with a photo and a rough measurement — we’ll point you in the right direction.
What’s next (over the coming weeks)
This is the first in a short series.
Next up, we’ll share:
  • How to choose the right structure (sheds vs summerhouses vs potting sheds)
  • The details that matter (timber types, treatment, finishes, placement)
  • And a proper introduction to our newest products that we are excited to share with you
For now: welcome to the timber chapter.
Made in-house. Made with care. Made for Irish gardens.
