Description
Heuchera ‘Crazy Rasta’ is a real show-stopper — bright lime-green leaves with bold red veining that looks almost painted on. It brings instant energy to pots and borders, lighting up darker corners and making neighbouring plants look richer by contrast. In summer, airy stems of small creamy flowers rise above the foliage for a softer finishing touch.

Planting:
Plant in spring or autumn into well-prepared soil, or pot into a quality peat-free compost with good drainage. Keep the crown at soil level — don’t bury it too deeply. Water well to settle in.

Watering:
Water regularly in the first season and during dry spells, especially in containers. Consistent moisture helps keep foliage lush and colour strong.

Feeding:
A spring mulch and a light feed (or slow-release feed in pots) is usually plenty. Refresh the compost surface in containers each spring for a quick boost.

Seasonal Care & Tidy-Up:
Remove tired leaves as needed. In late winter/early spring, tidy away older foliage so the new season’s growth comes through cleanly.

Generally easy. Watch for vine weevil in pots and occasional slug/snail damage on young leaves.

Design Notes:
Use ‘Crazy Rasta’ as a colour hit: it’s brilliant with deep purples, burgundy foliage, dark grasses, and hot-toned flowers. It also looks fantastic repeated through a border to create a bright thread of colour, or used in containers where you want something that reads from a distance.
