Description

This option of Crateagus grows more regularly and higher than the more common of the species. Eventual height approx. 8 m, with a broad flattened crown. The branches do bear thorns. . The leaves are broad oval and glossy dark green with a sharply serrated edge. The autumn colour is remarkable: red, orange and yellow tints. The white flowers appear in felt-like umbels in May and June. They are followed by small, bright red fruits,  that remain on the tree for a long time.
