Closed this August Bank Holiday

We only close a couple of the Bank Holidays in the year and this weekend is one of those, its been a fantastically busy year with so much going on and the team are all looking forward to some very well deserved rest and recuperation.

A little about our team that hold the fort, keep everyone happy and generally are magicians in what they do

Our Nursery Sales team who really aren’t sales people at all, we never go out to hire sales individuals but guys and girls with very strong horticultural knowledge, a team mentality but most importantly a headstrong desire to create beautiful gardens and advise and assist you in creating yours;  Roisin, Jenny, Jorge, Michelle and Finn are the very best team of horticultural expertise.  Jenny assists lots of our larger trade. customers as well as garden owners, Roisin also works with some of our trade clients but will ensure no one leaves the nursery unless they have the best advice possible, even if that means they leave empty handed to try a tip or trick.  Jorge is our resident garden planner and draughtsman and is such a visual designer that you regularly will leave with a  plan in hand.  Michelle has lots of experience and is the newest member of the team coming from a landscape background she has huge amounts of expertise to pass on and Finn is a member of the family so has grown up around these trees and plants, had design and horticultural discussed around the dining table for as long back as he remembers and his knowledge of planting schemes is testament to that.

In our office, answering your calls and emails is our worker ants, offering advice, their expertise and loads of images and videos as well as lots of horticultural knowledge is Tara, Mikita, Jenny, Helen and myself occasionally assisted by other members of our family too in Juliet & Ella.  Again the team who work very closely to the sales team are unwavering in their desire to ensure all our clients have the very best possible gardens for their homes and their lifestyles.  What more can I say – do pick their brains they have no end of knowledge on their chosen subject – gardens, trees and plants. From our design project clients to those wanting plants delivered and our happy to plant themselves.  We also have Kevin, our marketing creator who delivers wonderful videos and very special content on all our social platforms to give you as much information as possible. We mustn’t forget our amazing garden designer who works alongside Ian, Helen and I, Vedrana an expert designer and garden architect who creates th emost beautiful designs and helps you realise your future garden through plans in 2D, 3D and video flythroughs.

Thats not all, we have despatch headed up by Borja,  Landscape team with David at the helm and our production specialist who are responsible for ensuring the growth and quality of all our plants from sowing, potting through to getting them ready to go.  We, Ian and I, couldn’t be prouder of our close team

We deliver as you know Nationwide and you all probably know this too but we offer free delivery on all orders over €100 so we can’t say fairer than that.  We have had a few complaints recently about the cost of our deliveries but all orders over €100 go free and if you are only ordering one plant at say €30 and you want us to deliver it to Donegal. Mayo or Kerry please do understand its our own team of drivers who deliver Oliver, Kristian and Anthony and they drive the length and breadth of the country to get the plants to you but brining one plant to these places, blocking a truck for up to half a day for a plant that we make a couple of euro on isn’t ost effective, so if you want free delivery add a few more plants!  I think thats a fair offer…
