Following yesterday’s introduction to our Nourish show garden collaboration with award-winning designer Leonie Cornelius, today we’re delighted to share the detailed elements that make this Mediterranean-inspired sanctuary truly special.
The Living Palette: Our Plant Selection
Every plant in the Nourish garden was carefully selected to fulfil both practical and medicinal purposes. The Mediterranean-inspired planting scheme balances drought-tolerance with sensory richness, creating a space that’s both sustainable and deeply nourishing.
Our plant selection embraces the “structured wildness” philosophy, with architectural specimens providing backbone and structure, while softer, frothier varieties add movement, texture, and seasonal interest. From aromatic herbs that release their scent when brushed against to ornamental grasses that dance in the slightest breeze, each plant contributes to the garden’s immersive experience.
The Craftspeople Behind the Vision
Bringing Nourish to life required the expertise and passion of numerous skilled artisans and suppliers. The crystal-embedded stonework in the Terrace represents countless hours of meticulous craftsmanship, by Paul Mason Construction and his team of the best specialist craftsmen, with each stone and crystal carefully positioned to create moments of wonder throughout the day. The stone is a Dolomite Limestone from one of the most professional quarries we have ever dealt with at Franken Schotter and their stone is available through Caragh Nurseries, its not cheap but is anything that looks this good!
Our suppliers have been invaluable partners in this journey, providing everything from specialist materials to expert knowledge. Their commitment to quality and sustainability aligns perfectly with our vision for a garden that heals and reconnects.
